Davido, the Afrobeat sensation, clears the air on stories of his purported detention during a gig in Kenya.
On his Instagram story, the “Unavailable” singer denies false claims of his arrest that spread online on April 1st.
He reminded his fans that the rumors are completely false, as he successfully completed his scheduled gigs in Uganda and Kenya before returning home to Nigeria.
The musician also stated that he has never been arrested for a crime anywhere in the world, including Nigeria, America, and the hundreds of nations where he has lived throughout his career.
He deemed the creation of claims of such international crimes exceedingly irresponsible, irrespective of the April Fools Day held on that.
He declared the fabrication of allegations of such international crimes extremely irresponsible regardless of the April Fools Day held on that day. However, his lawyer is currently seeking legal recourse against the media parties responsible for generating this misinformation about him.
