EPL: “Enough is enough” – Rashford fumes over treatment

What I Did That Made Manager, Hag Punish And Bench Me - Rashford

Marcus Rashford of Manchester United has described the criticism he has received this season as “abuse.”

With only eight goals in 40 appearances, the 26-year-old has faced backlash from both fans and pundits.

In response to a post on social media condemning the treatment he has received as “disgusting” and “cruel”, he expressed that the criticism has become excessive.

He wrote: “It is abuse and has been for months. Enough is enough.”

Last season, Rashford scored 30 goals in all competitions but has faced consequences for poor performances, including being benched by manager Erik ten Hag after United’s loss to Newcastle in December.

Additionally, his off-field conduct has been called into question by the Dutch manager.
