TikTok has deleted the account of Saida Boj, a well-known influencer, following a backlash over comments she made during an interview on the podcast “The Honest Bunch.”
The episode starring Saida Boj, hosted by media celebrity Nedu and his co-podcasters, sparked a social media firestorm.
During the interview, one of the influencer’s most problematic statements was her admission of “billing a man 24 hours” after meeting him. She went on to say that if she were approached by a man in the morning, she would ask for money by the evening to assess his financial capacity, claiming that she had no desire to date a “broke man.”
This candid revelation sparked intense debate and almost led to an altercation with Nedu when she insisted that men should pay for her beauty.
Saida Boj further provoked public outrage by declaring that a man could sleep with her within five days for a sum of N20 million.
These comments have drawn severe criticism from fans and celebrities alike, including rapper Erigga and public figures Solomon Buchi and Nedu himself. Erigga notably condemned her statements, questioning why anyone would spend such an amount on a call girl and suggesting that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) investigate her.
In the aftermath of the interview, the outcry led to a alleged mass report against Saida Boj’s TikTok account, which had amassed over a million followers.
Responding to the ban, Saida Boj took to social media, nonchalantly stating, “Na today them done Dey block this account? I be old customer,” indicating that this was not the first time she faced such an issue.
