Moyo Lawal, a well-known Nollywood actress, educated her admirers, who encouraged her to quit whitening her skin and warned them of the dangers of becoming transparent in the future.
She shared a video of her perfect skin with her three million followers. Some applauded her beauty, while others were concerned about the repercussions of her skin-lightening regimen.
“Hanty you Dey fade ooo, you’re becoming transparent,” a concerned fan wrote.
In response, Moyo Lawal insisted that she aimed to turn transparent and use it to her advantage.
“so I can become a ghost now 😒appearing and disappearing,” she responded.

Others, however, defended the actress by expressing the mental health implications of the negative comments which may someday lead to depression.
