Uche Elendu, a Nollywood actress, took to social media to express her displeasure with the price of a crate of eggs.
The movie star claimed that a crate of eggs costs N6000 in her neighbourhood.
She called out to the government, telling them to ban eggs in the country because she doubted that a fowl produced the egg. Still stunned by the price, Uche has promised not to buy it.
“A crate of egg is now N6000. How?? Abeg government kuku ban am cos no be fowl lay this one!! I’m shocked. I won’t buy Biko”.
Taking to comment section, many slammed her for exaggerating as they noted how things in the country isn’t that bad for egg to be sold at that price.
