Wilfred Ndidi, a Super Eagles midfielder, could be working for Steve Cooper at Leicester City in the Premier League next season.
The Foxes are close to appointing Cooper as their new manager.
He is set to replace Enzo Maresca, who quit to become Chelsea’s head coach earlier this month.
Leicester had identified Cooper, Graham Potter, and Carlos Corberan as their top possibilities to succeed Maresca, who led the team to the Championship title and promotion to the Premier League at the first time of asking last season.
Cooper has been out of work since being fired by Nottingham Forest in December.
