A Ghanaian woman has turned to social media to openly accuse her lover of betraying her and seeking compensation after he refused to marry her despite vowing to do so.
The incident, filmed in a TikTok video shared by @oheneniadazoaofficial, sparked a surge of internet emotions.
In the video, which first aired on Sompa Nkomo on Sompa TV, the upset woman bemoaned her boyfriend’s abrupt choice to leave their relationship.
According to her, her now ex-boyfriend argued that he wanted to be a preacher, and his father had told him not to marry someone from a poor household.
“He promised me he would send me abroad, and I want him to fulfill that promise,” she said in part.
