BREAKING: Tinubu swears in eight new permanent secretaries

Tinubu breaks silence on alleged

President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, administered the oath of office to eight recently appointed permanent secretaries within the federal civil service.

This ceremonial act took place prior to the routine session of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) held in the Aso Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The primary purpose behind their appointment was to address current and anticipated vacancies within various states and geo-political zones at the highest echelon of the Civil Service of the Federation.

This selection process was meticulously conducted by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, involving a written assessment, an ICT proficiency evaluation, and a consultative dialogue with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Following this rigorous procedure, eight directors from the Federal Civil Service who successfully navigated the selection criteria were promoted to the position of permanent secretaries.

These individuals include Emanso Okop Umobong (Akwa Ibom), Emeka Vitalis Obi (Anambra), Fatima Sugra Tabi’a Mohammed (Bauchi), Mohammed Sanusi Danjuma (Jigawa), Olubunmi Olusanya (Ondo), Maryam Ismaila Keshinro (Zamfara), Chinyere Ijeama Akujobi representing the South-East Zone, and Christopher Osaruwanwen Isokpunwu representing the South-South region.
