Jos: Lack of value for life responsible for Jos school building collapse – Simi

Songstress Simisola Kosoko, who is better known as Simi, has responded to the tragic collapse of a secondary school building in Busa Buji, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

According to report, the incident resulted in the loss of 22 students’ lives and left 132 others injured.

Simi, expressing her thoughts on her X handle, attributed the collapse to negligence and a lack of regard for human life in Nigeria.

She was deeply saddened by the fact that people in the country lose their lives over things that are trivial and unnecessary.

The singer wrote: “All those babies just gone like that because of people’s negligence. The worst thing about Nigeria is the lack of value for life. The things people die for are so maddening.”
