Donald Trump, the Republican party’s presidential candidate, has warned of the looming threat of World War III.
He has stated that if re-elected as President of the United States, he will do everything in his power to prevent the war from happening.
“You’re very close to world war,” Trump said at his campaign rally in Michigan on Saturday.
“I will restore a thing called peace through strength.”
He has also expressed his intention to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine if he wins the November election.
Following a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, he has assured that he will work towards ending the war and Zelenskiy has agreed to arrange a meeting with him.
