In a bold statement, Maverick singer Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, declared that he will end his 47-year marriage if United States Vice President Kamala Harris does not win the upcoming presidential election.
Charly Boy expressed his admiration for Harris, referring to her as his “crush,” and emphasized that America deserves its first Black female President after having already elected the first Black male President, Barack Obama.
Following President Joe Biden’s endorsement of Harris as the Democratic Party’s flagbearer, Charly Boy made his intentions clear by threatening to divorce his wife if Harris does not emerge victorious in the election.
He wrote in Pidgin: “If dis my crush, Kamala Harris no win the USA presidential election, I swear, I go divorce my wife of 47yrs.
“After the first Black Male President, America deserves the first Black Female President.
“Sorry rednecks. Dats how we Roll.”
