On Thursday in Abuja, Nigerians protesting against hunger and bad governance gathered at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
They arrived as early as 6am, chanting and singing while carrying placards with messages for the government.
The protesters are following a court order limiting their protest to the stadium, where they are being monitored by heavily armed security personnel.
Activists and groups organized the protest in response to economic difficulties, and it is scheduled to continue for 10 days.
