Hundreds of demonstrators wearing face caps emblazoned with the word “peace” have mobilized in the thoroughfares of Kano, dispersing protesters engaged in the plundering of stores and other commercial establishments.
The demonstrators advocating for “Peace,” adorned in their verdant face caps, vocalized the slogan “Mu yanci mukeso ba ruwan mu da kayan kowa,” signifying a call for emancipation from governmental constraints and a disavowal of any form of property infringement.
Previously, amidst the unrest, numerous locales fell victim to looting and arson, including the NCC premises situated along State Road in Kano State.
The recently constructed NCC facility, slated for imminent inauguration, fell prey to vandalism and arson, incurring substantial damages.
A member of the “Peace” demonstrators conveyed to the press their unwavering commitment to halting the pillaging and desecration of innocent civilians’ possessions.
