Nigerian musician Falz has responded to the ongoing protests against bad governance across the nation.
The nationwide protest began on August 1st and is now in its second day.
Known for his activism against bad governance, Falz expressed his disappointment on the microblogging platform X.
He criticized President Tinubu for ignoring the protests and questioned how long the president plans to continue neglecting the concerns of the people.
His words: “Genuinely don’t know why it’s so difficult to be humane. They say make you leave am, you no gree. Say na your birthright. You can’t now turn a deaf ear. You tried to make it look like the protests were “politically motivated”. Shebi una don see now? How long do you think you can keep on pushing the people back before it blows up in your face ?”
It is worth noting that Afrobeat award-winning singer Burna Boy handed over the title of “African Giant” to Falz recently after dissociating himself from the nationwide protest for being canceled by Nigerians in 2020.
