Favour Ofili qualifies for Women’s 200m final

Favour Ofili, a Nigerian athlete, has advanced to the final of the women’s 200 metres event at the Paris Olympics.

McKenzie Long of the USA finished third in 22.30 seconds. Ofili’s 22.05s improves on her 22.24s from the opening round on Sunday.

She becomes the first Nigerian athlete to reach the final of an event at the current Olympics.
