Hajiya Hauwa Kulu Muhammadu Jega, the mother of former INEC chairman Professor Attahiru Jega, passed away in Abuja on Friday after a short illness.
A family source announced that the funeral prayer for Hajiya Hauwa would take place at the National Mosque in Abuja on Saturday at 1:30pm, followed by her burial at Gudu Cemetery.
Hajiya Hauwa is survived by many children and grandchildren, including popular journalist and syndicated newspaper columnist, Malam Mahmud Jega, and a former Executive Director of AMCON, Alhaji Abbas Jega, among others
