Samklef, a Nigerian music producer, has chastised Davido for making disrespectful remarks about the estranged wife of his logistics manager, Israel DMW.
According to Gistloveri, Davido made a joke implying that Sheila must be sad because Israel is growing. He mentioned their luxurious lifestyle, which included private jets and extensive spending, hinting that it was Sheila’s loss.
In a series of tweets, Samklef expressed his displeasure with Davido’s choice of words, asking how he could refer to someone’s ex-wife in such a disparaging manner. He highlighted that such remarks are improper and advised the artist to examine the consequences of his words.
Furthermore, Samklef asked Davido to consider how he would respond if someone spoke about his wife similarly, advising him to be mature.
He pointed out that Davido’s competitors, Wizkid and Burna Boy, would never engage in such behavior. Samklef also raised the question of whether Israel was not already flying private jets prior to his marriage, criticizing Davido for his apparent lack of empathy and morals, while noting that his fans continue to support this conduct.
