Manchester City dropped points for the second week in a row, drawing 1-1 against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.
With Rodri unavailable for the rest of the season due to injury, Pep Guardiola went with Mateo Kovacic and Rico Lewis in midfield.
However, City struggled to maintain dominance in the park’s center.
City took the lead in the 35th minute thanks to defender Josko Gvardiol.
But Newcastle came back, and Anthony Gordon equalized from the penalty spot in the 58th minute as the home team applied relentless pressure. City has now drawn 3 games in all competitions this season.
