EPL: I won’t be the one to sack Ten Hag – Man Utd co-owner Sir Ratcliffe

Man Utd moves to sack staff as Sir Ratcliffe reduces cutting cost measures

Manchester United co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has made it clear that the decision on Erik ten Hag’s future is not in his hands.

With Ten Hag facing mounting scrutiny following a winless streak of four matches, the pressure is on as the Red Devils gear up for a crucial fixture against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Ratcliffe, who plans to attend the game at Villa Park, has emphasized that any potential decision to replace Ten Hag will not be up to him.

When asked by the BBC whether he still has faith in Ten Hag, Ratcliffe said: “I don’t want to answer that question. I like Erik. I think he’s a very good coach but at the end of the day it’s not my call, it’s the management team that’s running Manchester United that have to decide how we best run the team in many different respects.”
