Remilekun Abdulkhalid Safaru, also known as Reminisce, a Nigerian rapper, has likened fame to a potent drug.
Describing it as highly intoxicating, the ‘Alaga Ibile’ artist revealed his thoughts during a recent interview on Naija FM in Lagos.
“Fame is a hard drug. It’s very intoxicating,” Reminisce said.
When asked about how he navigates fame, he revealed his tactic of viewing everyone as colleagues rather than friends.
By adopting this mindset, he explained that he doesn’t place high expectations on others, allowing him to better manage the effects of fame.
