Nelly, a Big Brother Naija Season 9 finalist, has revealed that she purposefully disregarded her fellow contestant, Shaun, despite his want to speak with her after her eviction on Sunday.
It is worth noting that Nelly and Shaun’s relationship had deteriorated throughout their stay in the house, with Shaun and his girlfriend claiming that Nelly’s buttocks were “fake.”
Shaun claimed that Nelly’s boyfriend, Sooj, instigated the talk about his girlfriend’s buttocks.
Despite his protestations, Nelly maintained an aloof tone toward him.
In a recent interview with Naija FM, Nelly shared that Shaun attempted to mend their relationship on Sunday, but she was not receptive to his overtures.
“After the eviction, Shaun was chasing me around like a fowl; that we should speak.
“I told him there’s no need for this conversation; it’s your opinion of me, and it’s valid,” she said.
Shaun had previously mentioned on the show that he chose to pursue Wanni instead of Nelly because she did not take the initiative to make the first move.
Wanni also claimed after the show that Nelly had been flirting with Shaun even while they were in a relationship.
