Ayra Starr

Ayra Starr, a Nigerian musician, has finally addressed the similarity between her and her South African counterpart, Tyla.

Recall that they were both nominated for the first time in the Best African Music Performance category at the 66th Grammys, where Tyla defeated Ayra Starr and other Nigerian singers to win.

Tyla Breaks Silence After VMAAyra Starr said for the first time in an interview with BBC Radio 1 Xtra that she is not letting the similarity damage her relationship with Tyla.

She described the South African diva as her “home girl” and her “G.”

She said, “Tyla is my homegirl, that’s my G. That doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t care about all of that. Less noise, more music.
