Solanke's Second-Half Brace Stuns Villa as Spurs Rally To a 4-1 Win

Tottenham Hotspur defeated Aston Villa 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after a spectacular second-half reversal, ending Villa’s impressive eight-game unbeaten record in the Premier League.

The visitors took the lead in the 32nd minute with a straightforward tap-in from Morgan Rogers following Lucas Digne’s corner. Amadou Onana had already gone close to opening the scoring, hitting the post with a header just a minute before.

However, Tottenham’s fortunes changed in the second half. England forward Dominic Solanke struck twice in five minutes to seal the comeback victory. His first goal came in the 75th minute, cleverly dinking Dejan Kulusevski’s pass over Emiliano Martinez.

Solanke secured the win with his second goal in the 79th minute, slotting home from inside the penalty area. The £65 million summer signing’s brace marked a decisive turning point in the match.

The victory maintained Tottenham’s impressive home record, marking their sixth consecutive win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since their league defeat to Arsenal on September 15.
