Selena Gomez has spoken out about her participation at a Los Angeles industry event, citing continuing health issues with a condition known as SIBO.

The 32-year-old ‘Only Murders in the Building’ actress attended the American French feature Festival at the DGA Theater Complex on Tuesday, where she debuted her latest feature, ‘Emilia Perez’.

In reaction to online criticisms about her appearance, Gomez uploaded a now-deleted TikTok video explaining her health issue.

“This makes me sick,” she commented, adding, “I have SEBO in my small intestine. It flares up.”

She continued, addressing body image, saying, “I don’t care that I don’t look like a stick figure. I don’t have that body. End of story. No, I am NOT a victim. I’m just human.”
