Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid manager, has explained why Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior is depressed. He claims that Vinicius’ grief is unrelated to his loss of the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
Ancelotti told the media on Monday that the Brazil forward is dissatisfied due to the rains that have devastated Valencia, Spain.
The Los Blancos’ La Liga match with Valencia was canceled due to last week’s tragedy.
Ancelotti said: “Vinicius Jr is sad but not because of the Ballon d’Or…
“He is sad because of what’s happening in Valencia”.
Vinicius Jr lost the Ballon d’Or to Manchester City’s Rodri, despite being a huge favorite to win it.
He finished second in the voting while Madrid team-mate Jude Bellingham came third.
