“I Won’t Be Inviting Them” – Trump Snubs Nikki Haley, Pompeo

Donald Trump Wins the US Presidential Election, Defeats Kamala Harris

Donald Trump, the president-elect of the United States, has indicated that he will not invite Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo, two members of his past cabinet, back to the White House.

Haley was the United States Ambassador to the United Nations, and Pompeo was the former Secretary of State and Director of the CIA.

Previously, the Republicans were regarded two strong prospects for Trump’s new cabinet.

“I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation,” the president-elect posted on Truth Social on Saturday.

Fox News reports that despite the harsh nature of the announcement, Trump added that he enjoyed working with them.

“I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country,” he continued. “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Haley ran against Trump in the Republican primary earlier this year. She has been both publicly supportive and critical of Trump in the past.

Pompeo, while not one of Trump’s most vocal supporters, has also expressed support for the president-elect in the past.
