Cristiano Ronaldo has established yet another record following an extraordinary display during Portugal’s 5-1 triumph over Poland in the UEFA Nations League on Friday (November 15).

Ronaldo has now distinguished himself as the athlete with the highest number of victories in international football (132).

The illustrious former players of Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus netted a brace and contributed an assist as Portugal decisively defeated Poland to clinch a berth in the Nations League quarter-finals.

AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, Chelsea’s Pedro Neto, and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes also contributed to the scoring for A Selecao.

Ronaldo participated in his 215th appearance for his national squad, achieving his 134th and 135th international goals, thus elevating his career total to 910.

The victory against Poland further signifies that Ronaldo has now attained 132 wins with the Portugal national team, establishing him as the athlete with the most victories in men’s international football.

The previous record holder was Ronaldo’s former teammate at Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos, who participated in 131 victories across international competitions during his tenure with the Spanish national team.

Holding the third position on the list is another former star of Los Blancos — Iker Casillas — with 121 victories for La Roja.
