Fire marshals shut down Ludacris show

Fire marshals shut down Ludacris’ performance at the Art Basel event in Miami.

The exclusive Nylon and Movado party, hosted at Lenny Hochstein’s Star Island mansion, faced heavy police presence due to new Art Week regulations.

Despite the strict occupancy limits and noise restrictions, the party was still lively as Ludacris performed hits like Area Codes and What’s Your Fantasy. However, after 30 minutes, a fire marshal interrupted the show.

This was Ludacris’ first time performing at Art Basel in Miami, in an event attended by celebrities like Janelle Monae, DJ John Summit, and Camila Cabello.

Art Basel is known for hosting premier modern and contemporary art shows around the world.

“I just started collecting art,” Ludacris told Page Six.

“I wanted to focus on it after focusing on real estate. You have to buy all the houses first before you get the art for them.”

“I love all the creative energy that comes to the city. I don’t love the traffic, but I love all the creatives and all the art.”
