Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim cautioned that the club is in for a challenging road back to success.
Following Nottingham Forest’s historic win at Old Trafford, the manager acknowledged the team’s recent struggles with back-to-back losses in the top-flight, reminiscent of his time at Sporting CP in August 2022.
United currently sits in 13th place with 19 points, marking their lowest total after 15 games since the 1986-87 season.
“We already knew [it would be tough],” Amorim said.
“It will be a long journey but we want to win because this is a massive club. You feel it, when you lose one game it’s really hard for everybody.”
