Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time Tour may spread Christmas cheer far and wide, but it will not stop in Newark or Belmont this year. Mimi has been forced to cancel gigs in both places.
Carey, who postponed her Pittsburgh gig earlier this week due to sickness, revealed that she could not do any follow-up shows for the same reason.
Taking to social media, the diva wrote:
“Newark and Belmont – I wish I had better news but unfortunately I’m still sick and have to cancel the shows tonight and on Sunday. I’m really devastated about it and appreciate your support. Love, MC 💔”
While the news is undoubtedly unfortunate, Carey still has fans buzzing after announcing that she will open the NFL Christmas Day Game live on Netflix with a special rendition of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You.’
