After a prolonged and acrimonious eight-year legal dispute, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have finally come to an agreement on their divorce.
The Daily Mail reported that the celebrity couple signed the official paperwork on Monday, December 30.
However, the dispute over a French chateau they both owned is still unresolved.
“Frankly, Angelina is exhausted,” Divorce Lawyer James Simon, said.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt.
“She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.”
Jolie initiated the divorce proceedings in September 2016, only two years after their marriage began. Prior to exchanging vows, the couple had been together for a decade.
