President Bola Tinubu has expressed his approval of the global events that followed the suspension of foreign aid to African countries by U.S. President Donald Trump.
The halt on operations of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) affected Nigeria and other African nations, sparking concerns nationwide.
Tinubu highlighted the importance of African countries building themselves up and providing assistance to one another in the wake of this suspension.
He said, “I like what is happening around the world, if anything, it is teaching a lesson that we particularly Nigerians and the great African continent can build ourselves and help Africa to grow”.
