Olori Tobi Phillips-Ogunwusi, one of the wives of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has joyfully celebrated her twins’ first birthday.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the former beauty queen shared adorable photos of her children dressed in traditional royal attire, writing:
“With a Splash of Royalty and a Sprinkle of Steeze, we open this New Chapter In Grace. 🙏 Happy Birthday PRINCE ADESINA & PRINCESS ADESEWA OGUNWUSI 🎉🎈.”
In anticipation of the milestone, she had earlier posted a heartfelt video on Saturday, reminiscing on their journey and precious moments since birth.
“From our first smile captured at 8 days to lots of giggles, cuddles, snuggles & many firsts… Lord, see how far! 🙏 Few hours to our birthday 🎉🥂💝💙🩷.”
Olori Tobi, the third wife of the Ooni, married the revered monarch on October 9, 2022, after a six-year relationship.
A native of Okitipupa, Ondo State, she became famous in 2012 after winning the World Miss University Africa pageant.
The royal couple welcomed their twins—a boy and a girl—in March 2024, a moment the Ooni celebrated with gratitude, assuring that both mother and children were in good health.
The twins were given traditional Ile-Ife names:
- Princess Adesewa, Oreade, Oluwatamilore Ejide Ogunwusi
- Prince Adeshina, Oreade, Ejide, Oluwasemilore Ogunwusi
Their first birthday marks a special milestone in the royal household, filled with love, joy, and tradition.
