Kanye West stirred up controversy and backlash on social media this week with his attacks on fellow artists, including Beyonce and JAY-Z’s family.
Despite already angering fans of Cardi B, Iggy Azalea, Kendrick Lamar, and Playboi Carti, West took it a step further by targeting Beyonce and her young twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
“Has anyone ever seen JAY-Z and Beyonce’s younger kids? They’re r-tarded,” he shared to his 33 million followers on X on Tuesday (March 18). “This is why artificial insemination is such a blessing. Having r-tarded children is a choice.”
The unexpected criticism garnered widespread attention and accusations of bullying, leading Kanye West to delete the tweet but continue with his insults.
“I need everyone to know that I took the post about JAY-Z and Beyonce’s family down…because there was a possibility of my Twitter being canceled, not because I’m a good person,” he remarked. “I took it down like down syndrome…get it? F*ck the world…f*ck everybody.”
This behavior comes on the heels of a previous rant that was condemned for its hateful and discriminatory language.
