Sia, the 49-year-old Australian singer, has filed for divorce from her husband Daniel Bernard after just 22 months of marriage.
The couple tied the knot in May 2023 and share an 11-month-old baby named Somersault Wonder Bernard.
The singer cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, listing Tuesday as the date of their separation.
The outlet states, “Sia is asking for legal and physical custody of the kid but is open to visitation rights for Dan.”
The outlet also reports that it is unclear if the singer – who is believed to be worth $30 million (£23 million) – has a prenup, and reported, “Sia checked the box to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to her estranged husband.”
This is Sia’s second divorce, as she was previously married to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang from 2014 to 2016. In 2019, the singer made headlines for adopting two teenage sons from the foster care system and later becoming a grandmother when one of the boys welcomed a child of his own in the following year.
