Erling Haaland has expressed no concerns about potential repercussions for Manchester City in light of their 115 Premier League charges. The Norwegian striker cites his groundbreaking nine-and-a-half-year contract as evidence of his trust in the club.

Despite the ongoing uncertainty following the conclusion of the Premier League hearings in December, Haaland remains confident in City’s integrity. Manager Pep Guardiola anticipates a verdict by the end of March.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of Norway’s World Cup qualifier against Moldova, Haaland made his stance clear:

“Obviously, I wouldn’t have signed a nine-and-half-year contract if I was worried. I’ve said many times why I signed – I talked to the club, got a good feeling, and made my decision.”

Despite City’s struggles this season—falling out of the Premier League title race and Champions League, Haaland remains focused on the what lies ahead.

“It’s different when you’ve won the league both years and now you’re not in the title race. But you can’t win every year. Now it’s about securing a Champions League place and going for the FA Cup.”
