Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from Kogi Central has dared Senate President Godswill Akpabio to take legal action against her for her accusations of death threats.
Natasha made the challenge during her appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday evening.
Earlier in the week, Natasha had accused Akpabio of orchestrating her recall and assassination through the governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo. She stated that Ododo had informed Akpabio that it would be difficult to carry out because the people support her.
The senator then alleged that Governor Bello was instructed to see through her recall and assassination, with promises of financial support for the process.
“But Akpabio was not satisfied; he then called for Yahaya Bello. It was Senator Asuquo who drove Yahaya Bello to the Hiltons. I was informed,” Akpoti-Uduaghan said.
“The meeting was in two folds; he told him to commence my recall. He was going to fund it. Of course, money changed hands that day. The second thing was that he should kill me. Akpabio told Yahaya Bello to kill me,” she claimed.
However, Natasha said: “I am hearing that the Senate President wants to sue me for that, I will tell him to go ahead. We will meet and cross that bridge.”
