Nigerian comedian Seyi Law, also known as Oluwaseyitan Aletile, recently expressed his belief that if President Bola Tinubu fails to bring about transformation in the country, then no other politician will be able to do so.
Despite the current challenges faced by Nigeria, Seyi Law has remained steadfast in his support for Tinubu, whom he campaigned for in the lead-up to the 2023 presidential election.
According to Seyi Law, both Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, who were candidates in the election, would not have been able to perform better than Tinubu based on their past records. Although his decision to support Tinubu has led to some backlash and a loss of patronage from some Nigerians, Seyi Law stands by his choice and has no regrets.
He expressed his hope that his children will benefit from President Tinubu’s reforms in the future, highlighting his unwavering belief in Tinubu’s ability to lead the country towards positive change.
Speaking in a recent episode of the Teju Babyface podcast, Seyilaw said, “Some Nigerians hate me for supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. They don’t even support my shows anymore. You might not support me today but I will want to be 70 and 80 and I see my children enjoying the benefits of the sacrifices I have made today.
“I tell you wholeheartedly, not with any sentiment, if Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot redirect the ship of Nigeria, no politician currently can do it. None. Not Atiku, not Peter Obi. Not with what I know about all of them.”
