Cashout Ace is currently facing the most serious challenge of his life.
The rapper, known for his song “Keep Doing You”, was arrested on Monday, May 5, and booked into Harris County Jail on a felony charge of aggravated promotion of prostitution. The 25-year-old, recognized for his flashy image and street-themed music, is now entangled in severe human trafficking accusations.
Court documents reveal that Cashout Ace, whose real name is Miguel Guajardo, allegedly trafficked two women from Fort Worth to Houston, coordinating their involvement in commercial sex work.
Prosecutors claim he arranged their transportation, provided hotel accommodations, and managed the logistics of their encounters. These allegations contrast sharply with his public persona as an up-and-coming Southern rap artist.
The case stems from a Houston Police Department undercover operation focused on online platforms linked to sex work and trafficking. During the sting, an officer posed as a client and arranged a meeting with a woman at a local hotel. She allegedly agreed to perform sex acts for $400. Once inside the room, officers intervened and detained her.
During questioning, the woman claimed she was not acting independently. She said a man she knew only as “Josh” had been controlling her schedule, setting her rates, and managing her activities. Investigators later identified “Josh” as Guajardo.
Based on her account, along with surveillance footage and digital evidence, authorities suspect Cashout Ace was running a trafficking ring. The case reportedly reflects signs of organized exploitation, including city-to-city movement, financial control, and coercion.
Guajardo remains behind bars without bond. His legal team has yet to issue a public statement. If found guilty, he could face a lengthy prison sentence and possibly federal charges, especially if more victims or interstate activity are uncovered.
Cashout Ace had been growing a fanbase with music focused on street life and ambition. His visuals—featuring luxury brands, cash, and flashy cars—are now being reconsidered in light of these serious allegations.
The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities are encouraging anyone with relevant information to come forward. For now, Guajardo’s music career is on pause as he deals with legal issues far removed from his artistic image.
