Singer and model Cassie Ventura continues to share deeply personal testimony in the ongoing federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
During cross-examination this week, the 38-year-old singer disclosed that she underwent trauma-focused therapy at Willow House in Arizona in early 2023, spending 45 days in the facility to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
“It was part of my healing journey,” she told the court, revealing she was never treated for sex compulsion or love addiction, despite implications from Diddy’s defense attorney, Anna Estevao.
Cassie explained that her therapeutic treatment included EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and weekly neurofeedback sessions, saying her brain was “hooked up to a machine” to help regulate brain waves and restore emotional balance.
In another revelation, the Official Girl artist confirmed that she was prescribed buprenorphine in 2022 to treat opiate addiction, and is still on the medication as part of her recovery.
The courtroom testimony adds new layers to Cassie’s ongoing claims, offering a raw and intimate look at the lasting psychological impact of the alleged abuse she suffered.
As the federal case unfolds, Cassie’s testimony continues to highlight the mental health toll of alleged trauma and the path she’s taking toward healing.
