Social media critic and influencer, VeryDarkMan, has warned singer Davido and socialite Cubana Chief priest that he will cut ties with them if they publicly support the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
This threat comes after the duo’s visit to the presidency, which angered VeryDarkMan due to his strong criticism of the APC administration.
He told them to say goodbye to their relationship with him if they campaign for APC in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram page, the influencer said, “I don’t have a problem with who anyone chooses to support politically. The only way I will have a problem with Davido, Chiefpriest, or any influencer is if they start publicly campaigning for APC or any political party come 2027. I will stand against you.
“Let the people decide. Don’t deceive them to vote for the wrong politicians because of the love they have for you after you have been bought over with money… Any politician that wants the people to support him should speak for himself. Let him campaign for himself; he should not use celebrities.
“He should communicate his plans to the people. If any celebrity campaigns for any politician, I will come for that celebrity. Let the suffering masses decide. They know best. If you decide to vote for Tinubu despite what is happening in this regime, then no problem. If you think that’s what works for you, there’s absolutely no problem. And if you decide that it is another party that will take you out of the problem, then no problem. But no celebrity should campaign for any politician.”
VeryDarkMan and Davido have a good relationship. He was among the few influencers invited to the singer’s lavish wedding with Chioma in June 2024.
