The courtroom atmosphere grew tense as a woman identified only as ‘Mia’, a former assistant to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, took the witness stand to share harrowing allegations of abuse, intimidation, and psychological trauma suffered during her time working for the Bad Boy Entertainment founder.
Testifying under a pseudonym for safety reasons, Mia offered a detailed and emotional account of what she described as a deeply toxic and controlling work environment across Combs’ ventures, including Revolt Films.
Claims of Psychological Manipulation and Abuse
Mia told the court that she suffered from PTSD and anxiety attacks due to years of alleged manipulation and emotional abuse.
Her employment with Combs reportedly ended in 2017, during a shutdown at Revolt Films. While she initially sought $10 million in severance through mediation, she ultimately received only $400,000, with half of that amount allocated to legal fees.
Shockingly, Mia stated that she withheld allegations of sexual abuse during the settlement process, adding chillingly:
“Oh, no. I was going to die with that.”
A Pattern of Control and Fear
Mia’s testimony included disturbing claims of tight control over her movements, including withheld passports, aggressive threats over missed calls, and unsettling episodes during trips abroad, including to South Africa.
She testified that Combs, who she referred to as “Puff”, wielded immense influence over her career and personal freedom, suggesting that any resistance or attempt to escape his orbit came with serious consequences.
“He held the keys to everything. My job, my reputation, even my passport,” she said.
Broader Context
Mia’s testimony comes amid a growing number of lawsuits and allegations against Diddy, ranging from sexual misconduct to human trafficking, which he has repeatedly denied. Federal investigations and civil suits continue to mount, as former employees and associates begin to come forward with allegations spanning decades.
