Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has fired back at Regina Daniels after the young actress slammed her for suggesting that Mercy Johnson is battling an undisclosed illness.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Okorie didn’t hold back. She called Regina’s response “disrespectful” and reminded her of their past, claiming Regina once looked up to her as a senior colleague in the industry.
“You used to visit my house with your mum. I thought you were sensible, but instead of working for your success, you married someone old enough to be your great-grandfather,” Okorie wrote, referencing Regina’s billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko.
She accused Regina of chasing luxury through marriage, saying, “You want jets and riches you could’ve earned yourself. I built my life without depending on a man.”
Issuing a warning, Angela said, “Don’t mention my name again. This is your last chance.”
She also suggested Regina was trying to trend: “Nigerians have forgotten you and your old man. Don’t use me for a comeback. Stay in your lane.”
As of now, Regina Daniels has not responded to Okorie’s fiery remarks.
