Man City Ready to Sell Jack Grealish for £45m — Prepared to Take £55m Loss Amid Napoli Interest

Manchester City are reportedly open to selling Jack Grealish for as little as £45 million this summer, marking a staggering £55 million loss just three years after his British record £100m transfer from Aston Villa.

According to The Sun, Napoli are weighing a move for the 29-year-old winger as they decide between Grealish and Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho. While Garnacho, 20, offers long-term potential, United’s £70 million asking price has made Grealish a more affordable and immediate option.

Sources suggest Napoli prefer Grealish for his experience and potential on-pitch chemistry with Kevin De Bruyne, who recently signed a two-year deal with the Serie A giants.

Grealish’s position at the Etihad has worsened under Pep Guardiola. He was omitted from City’s Club World Cup squad and overlooked during key matches, including their shock FA Cup final defeat to Crystal Palace — where teenage talent Claudio Echeverri was given the nod instead.

This dip in club form has cost Grealish a place in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for recent World Cup qualifiers, raising questions about his future both domestically and internationally.
