Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has publicly accused GUO Logistics, one of Nigeria’s prominent transport and logistics companies, of attempting to extort her and mishandling her package.
Taking to Instagram, the mother of three alleged that a package sent to her from Abuja was deliberately withheld by GUO staff, who demanded demurrage fees despite the company failing to notify her of the delivery.
Uche claimed she received no text message confirming the arrival of her parcel. After five days, she visited GUO’s Ajah office, only to be told that she must pay demurrage because her package had “overstayed.” She also alleged collusion among the staff to exploit customers, warning followers to be cautious.
Her post read in part:
“Logistics companies are robbing and stealing people’s belongings in broad daylight… I used to think this only happened with smaller companies, but I was shocked when I witnessed it with GUO, one of the supposed giants in transportation and logistics.”
As of now, GUO Logistics has not issued an official response to the accusations.
