Controversial street-hop singer Portable has fired back at his colleague, Bella Shmurda, following comments made during a recent podcast appearance in which Bella explained why he would not collaborate with him.

Bella Shmurda, while speaking on the ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ podcast hosted by Isbae U, stated that he sees no artistic connection between his style of music and Portable’s, adding that he prefers to avoid trouble.
Reacting in a fiery Instagram video, Portable blasted Bella for the comments, claiming that he is more famous, better-traveled, and musically superior.
In his words:
“Anytime you wan do interview no call my name. You cannot feature me. I’ve been to America, London. No be first to blow o. Na who dey blow dey go o. Which connection wan join me and you? You are a failure. I no dey roll or do music with failures…”
The exchange has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans debating which of the two artists holds greater influence in Nigeria’s Afrobeats and street-hop scene.
This isn’t the first time Portable has publicly called out fellow musicians, as he is known for openly criticising colleagues over perceived slights or disagreements.
