Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has showered praises on her senior colleague, filmmaker and producer Funke Akindele, describing her as a “force, unstoppable and undefeated” in the Nigerian movie industry.
In a heartfelt message shared via her Instagram page, Nkechi posted a clip of herself watching Funke’s popular YouTube series “Aiyetoro Town” while expressing gratitude for Funke’s unwavering support and belief in her.
“All the way from Canada, peep the Star girl’s voice mama @funkejenifaakindele you remain a force, unstoppable, undefeated, Numero Uno. You did this so many years ago; you are doing it again. I bless GOD in your life, maami,” she wrote.
Nkechi also acknowledged that despite being distant lately, Funke Akindele’s encouragement and trust in her have never gone unnoticed.
“Thank you for believing in me even though I have been distant… I do not take your love for granted; you are indeed a star maker. Always know that I love you beyond words.”
She went on to urge her fans to watch the second season of “Aiyetoro Town” now streaming on the FAAN TV YouTube channel, while revealing that she is currently enjoying some downtime in Canada.
