Paris FC Sign Moses Simon from FC Nantes for €7M Ahead of Historic Ligue 1 Return

Paris FC has completed the signing of Nigerian international Moses Simon from FC Nantes in a deal worth €7 million, marking a significant boost to the squad as they prepare for their first Ligue 1 season in 46 years.

The 29-year-old winger has penned a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028, following a successful medical on Monday.

Simon leaves Nantes after five standout seasons, where he became a pivotal figure in the squad. During the 2023–24 Ligue 1 campaign, he scored 8 goals and provided 10 assists in 32 appearances, directly contributing to 46% of the team’s total goals. His pace, creativity, and consistency were instrumental in Nantes’ attacking play.

Career Highlights at Nantes

  • Coupe de France winner (2022) and finalist in 2023

  • Featured in Europa League fixtures

  • Over 180 Ligue 1 appearances, showcasing his experience and reliability

  • One of Ligue 1’s most versatile wingers, capable of operating on both flanks

Paris FC, newly promoted from Ligue 2, are clearly building with ambition. Moses Simon becomes one of their marquee signings as they aim not just to survive but to compete in the top tier of French football.

Simon also brings international pedigree as a key member of the Super Eagles, with multiple Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) appearances under his belt.

This move reunites the Nigerian star with the spotlight, as Paris FC aim to write a new chapter in their top-flight return — with Simon expected to play a central role in their attacking ambitions.
