Popular South African actress and singer Simphiwe “Simz” Ngema has revealed she recently underwent cosmetic surgery in Turkey, joining a growing list of celebrities choosing transparency about post-pregnancy body transformations.

The mother of two, who shares sons Tiyani (born June 2022) and Kabo (born November 2024) with fellow entertainer Tino Chinyani, described the procedure as a “mommy makeover” aimed at restoring her pre-baby body.

“I Went for a More Natural Look”

In a candid social media post, Simphiwe explained her decision and the journey that led her to Mono Cosmetic Surgery in Turkey. According to the star, the procedure involved tummy fat removal and a breast lift, but she made it clear that she wasn’t seeking to look like someone else.

“I went for a more natural look. I wanted to fix what was ruined by pregnancy. I look like what I used to before having babies,” she wrote.

She emphasized that the changes were subtle and restorative, not excessive.

“My boobs are still the same size, they are just not sagging anymore, and my tummy is back to what it looked like before I had my children.”

Not About Perfection — Just Self-Confidence

Simz clarified that her decision wasn’t about chasing perfection, but rather reclaiming confidence in her body after childbirth.

“It’s not about trying to be perfect. I just wanted to feel good in my own skin again.”

She also praised how smooth and professional the process was — from consultations to final results.

“I did my consultation via WhatsApp when I was still at home. You take photos of yourself — no bra, similar panties — and you don’t have to show your face. They’ll send you a quotation.”

Fans Praise Her Honesty and Confidence

Alongside her heartfelt message, Simphiwe shared before-and-after photos, showing modest but noticeable results. Fans quickly took to the comments to praise her for being open, confident, and relatable.

Simphiwe’s journey is yet another reminder that postpartum self-care looks different for everyone, and there’s no shame in getting help — whether physical, emotional, or medical — to feel whole again.
