After days of online controversy and emotional fallout, Yinka Theisen, the ex-partner of Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, has publicly apologized in a heartfelt video, asking for forgiveness and taking responsibility for her recent actions and statements.
In the emotional clip, Yinka opened up about the pain that led to her behavior:
“Sometimes when we’re hurting, we come from a place of pain. We say things we shouldn’t have said, we share things we shouldn’t have shared. I am guilty of that. I’m not perfect.”
Speaking directly to Linc, she said:
“Linc, I am so sorry for hurting you. If I’ve hurt you in any way, please find it in your heart to forgive me. That was never my intention.”
Clarifies Stance on Online Backlash
Amid the backlash Linc has faced following the couple’s split and social media drama, Yinka made it clear that she does not endorse any hateful remarks being made in her name.
“Anyone spreading hateful messages or saying mean things about Linc is not doing so on my behalf. I’ve forgiven him. I hold no grudges. He’s an amazing man—kind and good-hearted.”
A Peaceful Note from Minnesota
She closed the video with a warm and reflective tone, expressing her hopes for healing:
“It’s a beautiful day here in Minnesota, and I wish all of you a beautiful, beautiful day. Take care, and God bless you.”
Background
Yinka and Linc went public with their relationship earlier this year, drawing attention from celebrities and fans alike. However, things took a messy turn after Yinka controversially leaked May Edochie’s phone number online. The backlash led to Linc distancing himself and ultimately declaring the relationship was over.
Yinka’s latest statement signals a move toward closure and peace, and fans are now waiting to see whether Linc will publicly respond.
